What should I expect from the new rear end?

What should I expect from the new rear end?

I currently have a stock 10 bolt 2.73 limited slip rear end in my car. I found a 10 bolt 3.73 posi for sale for $200. My question is, what should I be able to expect from the new rear end? Of course it will be easier to do burnouts, but what about my mileage? Is that going to become even worse? About how much can I expect to see my 1/4 mile time improved? Will it be "ok" for a daily driver that will see occasional autocross and drag events?
