Disable computer from the trans w/ kit

I want to get rid of the computer in my camaro and the last thing i need to do is disconnect the computer from the 700r4.I know
Jegs and Summit have kits to do this.What i was wondering how hard it is to do it and what do you have to do to change it..

I believe you remove a "blank" fill rod and replace it with a new valve. It's done on the tranny's valvebody, which you access by removing the trans pan. If that's the case, it's not hard, just a little messy if you get trans fluid in your hair.

The computer only controls the TCC lockup on a 700R4. The kits include a vacuum switch unlock the TCC under high engine load.
This is all you'll really need to wire in. Most kits also include a new wiring harness and pressure switch for inside the tranmission to prevent lockup unless the transmission is in OD. You'll have to drop the pan if you want to put this in.
