Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 4spd Auto
Axle/Gears: 2.73
Can I convert to a 6 speed manual from Auto?
88 IROC, 4spd. auto, 305 tpi. Want to know if it is possible to convert to a 4th gen 6 speed. Is it a simple tranny swap, or am I going to have to modify my car?

Yes, many have. Moving to Transmissions and Drivetrain board...you should do a search there as this has been covered many, many times.

i beleive hawks makes a kit. but go to the tech section there is a writeup there
