Transmission shifts sorta slugish

Transmission shifts sorta slugish
When I shift It takes about 2 seconds to shift into gear. Was wondering if a shift kit would help? Would a shift kit help produce a hard solid shift?

A shift kit will do a miracle if you want fast and firm shifts. Make sure you get the vette servo with the kit.
Trans go is the most popular kit out there. I have the Superior HP kit and I'm very happy with it.
These $$ is the best I've spend on my car so far.....
