ok

i have a rebuilt 700 with a kevlar band, decent clutchs etc.

when i got it back it had a lazy 1-2 shift, but all of the 5 700r4s ive had have been the same.

so solution i bought a new tv cable thinking perhaps that would solve the problem.. survey says...NOPE.

so now what suggestions do you guys have, the builder claims he put a shift kit in but now im not so sure.

If it had a shift kit, you would know it. Mine shifts HARD on the 1-2, and sends the car a little sideways. The 2-3 is crisp but not as much as the 1-2. Were all of the 700s you've gone through rebuilt by the same person?
