What kind of rear do i have in my 91 R/S??

If i have a limited slip Diff. is it the same as a 87 Vette with limited slip. Wanting to put 3:07 gears from a Vette into my rear end wich has 2:73 gears. Would it work? If not what should i do?

No, the Corvettes use a different rear end with the independant rear suspension. You have a 10-bolt rear end, more than likely not posi, with 2-series 2.73 gears. The easiest swap would be to a set of 10-bolt 2-series 3.08 gears. Next would be an SLP posi with 3.23 or higher gears.
