Need GM part no. for .500 boost valve

I don't think GM makes a .500 valve. I remember hearing that the largest was .467 or something like that.

The largest OEM TV boost valve is .471". A TV boost valve w/ .500" dia. is available from TCI (through Jegs/Summit etc.) PN 374301.

What's this boost valve do? Isn't this the item inside the fluid pump's pressure regulator?

The .500 TV valve is an aftermarket product only. I have these valves in stock, $8.75. I would update the pressure regulator valve at the same time, $9.75. If you likt to manually shift the transmission then you would need the .296 intermediate/reverse boost valve, $13.75. All of the valves can be installed at the same time.
