Clunking/knocking on deacceraltion and coasting

my car makes a clunking sound when slowing down or coasting, sounds like it might be coming from the driveshaft, i was thinking maybe a worn u joint? is there anything eles it could be? thanks. by the way the car does have a shift kit in it...
