Well the car just went 11.89 @ 121 w/ a 1.9 60' time. I did this with some BFG drag radials. I want to creep into the high 10's and I think I can do it, but I need to get my 60' times down. I was thinking about bolting on some slicks to see what would happen. The 10 bolt currently has Richmond 3.73's, Superior 28 spline axles, Torsen diff., LPW girdle diff cover, and welded axle tubes. This is a turbo car too so the power comes in gradually not instantaneous like with nitrous. What do you guys think?
I am running Hoosier QTP tires. They are not a true slick, they have the grooves cut to make it DOT approved. I am getting 1.64 and 1.61 60ft times.
This is with a stock 10bolt with 3.73 Richmond gears. I ran a best of 12.01 in the 1/4 and 7.64 in the 1/8 last time at the track.
