I am converting my car from auto to manual and I need to know what flywheel my car needs (Internal or external balance, 158 or 163 tooth)? It is a 1986 305 TPI motor. I am putting in a stock T5.

I'm thinking you'll need a 83-86 stock T-5 flywheel for a 2 piece RMS. 158 tooth....the balance will be right then.

They dont have a 158 tooth wheel listed. They only have 153's and 168's. Anybody definetly know what kind of flywheel I need?

My guess is that Confused (I'm smiling) meant 153.

OK you got me......I just followed his lead and I forgot the tooth count....153 it is. That's why I don't answer many of these, there's experts all over this board...(smiling too)
