Help!
i need to buy a torque arm bracket but when i got to the dealer he said i need to know whether its a mb1 m49 or mk9 ? i believe...the tranny is an 87 2.8 t5 but how do i identify with no rpo codes?

According to the '99 RPO book,
MK1 is a regular Borg Warner 5 speed
M49 is also a Borg Warner T-5, but wasn't supposed to be offered until 1988.
MK9 is listed as a Spicer 7 speed, are you sure he said MK9? Hope this helps.
