Damnit, I Dont think this is good!!!

Tonight i was making a 3 point turn and shifted into drive a little early out of reverse....didnt do anything big, just a slight *bang* into drive....and a little tiny chirp. But after that, when taking off from a dead stop the rear end makes a small *bang* like the car is shifting into gear. Its not loud, its more of a feel...i can feel the thud. This tranny has almost 200,000 miles on it, but has given me no problems up to this point. Any ideas what this is? Is my tranny soon to go out??? God i hope not.

If its the trans mount, its a cheap item, like $20. Get an Energy Suspension one. You'll have to crawl under your car with a flash light and inspect the mount for tears or cracks.

My car did that when I got it, was the tranny Mount, My guess is with 200k on the car, you Need a new one anyways, and For 19.95 Via Summit, Its worth the Gamble

Hmm, was gonna give you the PN but cant Find my receipt here.
