well, my rear end is out and i have school and work so i need transportation. 1st question is has anyone heard of a 3.55 gear ratio in a 86' 2.8, 5-speed, 10 bolt? 2nd is i know its possible to use a 4th gen rear end but are there any minor/major problems or mods? 3rd, about how much would you pay for a used 3rd or 4th gen. rear end from a junk yard?

 

no 3:55 in a 10 bolt, 4th gen will fit and work, you'll need 4th gen wheels i believe. 200 dollars would be a bargin i think. price depends a lot on you area, get the yellow pages out and start calling for a price.
