SLP take off posi

Are the SLP take off posi for 3rd gen's easy to install? Meaning, do the gears have to come out or anything? I know the powertrax is gravy to install....it just replaces the spider gears. So is the SLP the same as far as installation goes? Also, is the stock rear that came in my car (305 TBI w/a 2.73) a 7.625" or 8.5" or what?
Thanks

you'd have to swap the ring gear from one carrier to the other and then swap carreirs. 7.5 is the ring gear diameter.

Its 7.625" on a 91 car. You cant use your 2.73 gears with it because they wont fit. You need 3.23 or 3.42 or 3.73 gears with the SLP posi unit.
