just got rebuild kit... need some help...

I just got my complete rebuild kit for my 700-R4... and there are many more parts then I expected.. I dont have any money left over to buy a book with, so I'm gonna check the library for any books.. but does anyone know of any exploded pictures I might find on the internet of the tranny, or at least any tips on reassembly..

Owner of a 1989 IROC Camaro, a.k.a. "The Babe Magnet". Painted a cheap metallic blue that chips off all too easily and covers over the IROC decals on the doors, also has non-leaking T-tops, ps, pw, power rear hatch, working A/C. Mods: SLP intake runners, gutted MAF sensor, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, modified air spoil, 3.2? posi rear end.
Broken stuff: rear spoiler brake light, driver side lock, power antenna, tilt steering, rear end bushings, cracked passanger side ground effect, washer fluid tab, leaking exhaust and a rotted through muffler that sparks when the car bottoms out while driving like any 17 year old does.

best bet>>>>>>you spent a pretty penny on the rebuild kit right....so you better save up a few more bucks and buy yourself a detailed transmission disassembly/assembly book. Also, the disassembly of a transmission is just as important as the assebly. It must be done correctly. Things come out a certain way. SO, don't force anything and work in a very clean, uncluttered environment. It will help you keep things in perspective and won't make you nervous looking at a pile of tranny "stuff"
Keep us posted...

Your going to need a big bench or work area so you can lay down parts in the order that you remove them.Like an exploded view. Also make sure you dont turn any parts around, mark them if you have to.(tword inside,or outside)
