Rear end question

Axle/Gears: Dana44 4.10
Rear end question
I have an 88 Firebird Formula, LO3 motor, automatic. It curently has an open rear end and I have no idea what for gears.
I also have a junked 93 S10 Blazer CPI 4.3 automatic that has a 3.42 posi rear in it.
Is it possible and practical to put the posi unit and gears into the Firebird rear end?
