thowout bearing clearances

I have just installed a centerforce dual friction clutch in my firebird and while trying to adjust it noticed to get it to release completely the throwout bearing is turning with the pressure plate, there is not much pressure on it but I was wondering if should touch it at all? Does it ride against all the time?

What kind of car?

Most often it will touch in a hydraulic system. If it works right I wouldn't worry about it.
