Alright Im looking in the Jegs book right now at part number 836-49-0046-1k its a ring and pinion kit that goes from 82-94. I planned on getting a Slp posi and using this kit but why does it say it 82-94. I am buying buying some 28 spline axles.
Another example
I found a guy who is selling a slp posi Its one of the Posi units that cost around 300 from slp not the 99 dollar ones. He says it works from 94 and later cars. Why? I thought as long as I had 28 splines I could use any fourth generation Posi I wanted as long as I bought 3 series gears to go with it?

Yes you can use a 4th gen posi if you have 28 spline axles and 3-series gears. I dont know what the 94+ thing is.
