shifting.......

ok...what do i need to do or learn in order to lay rubber in second gear w/o wiring a lockup switch? i had a friend who barked the tires in his moms station wagon in second gear...hard to believe but he did it...

mods: 14" chrome air cleaner, straight-piped after cat exhaust with one chrome dual tip on the left side.
future mods: headers, removing smog equipment, and as many cheap mods as i can find

Definetly a shift kit. I'd go with a trango kit. Also a higher converter might do the trick since it should put you closer to your peak torque.
