For a 10-bolt, you will need to remove the calipers, open and drain the diff, remove the cross pin, push the axles in and take out the c-clips, then pull out the axles. Pull out the old seals and put in the new ones. Before putting the axles back, clean up any score marks and/or rust where the seals run so the new ones don't get chewed up.

It is alot easer than it may sound but, yes an after noon job is all it is. I have a drum 10 bolt but, the housing really is the same on the drums you just remove the whells pull the drums off take off the shoes and springs(this will make it easer)now remove the diff. cover so you can see the carrier. you may need to spin the carrier so that you can remove a small bolt that holds in the pin in the center. now go back to any side of the car and push the axle in and this alows you to remove the c clip in the diff. if it does't fall out on it's own. repeat for both sides. now you can remove the axles by just pulling out.
