t-5 rebuild

I am planing on pulling my t-5 this weakend and wan't to replace the sincs and out put bearing. now at work I can find the trans in the blown apart stage but, no dis. in the books. also how do you tell what trans do we have I guess that there was two differant t-5's that came in our 3rd gens (v8) and one t-5 for the v6.

I know that the v6 and v8 are bassically the same except the gear ratios and spline count on the input shaft but, there is two differant trans in the v8 as far as gm is concerned they don't list them as t-5 thats borgwarners name. gm uses some other names but, they both use the same case. my cheep book at home (chilton) does not tell you that info. when it comes time to order parts it is much easer if you know what you have. I was hoping some one had a factory book for our cars and could tell me the codes to look for so on mon. I could get the order out right away. and if you have a book it shows certain tolerances and often more detail on where parts go.
