ok..i have a 700, just rebuilt last may, with a transgo shift kit. he came highly recommended. it always shifted hard til 2 weeks ago. Now...the 1-2 shift is horrible...i think it is worse than a tranny without a shift kit...it is delayed...where as it used to shift hard immediately.....
the 2-3 shift is hard, and so is the 3-4. But the 1-2 is HORRIBLE....
today i changed the tranny filter...and nothing changed.
when i tug on the TV cable a lil bit...it works for a minute...but thats it. can i tighten it underneath?? also...what else could it be....modulator? band? thanks....Rick

well you could drop the pan and see if the cable linkage is ok in side. I have heard of the valve body gaskets not seating right after shift kit installs and blowing out. also if they sit for long periods of time.
