The tranny shifts hard under WOT. Now the only problem is it waits till 5500-6000rpm's to shift. Once it does it chirps the tires in 2nd and 3rd. i want it to shift around 5,000-5,200. What can I do to change that? i have installed a 13 vane pump, larger line pressure bushing, 2nd,4th gear Servo's, 9 disc cluth pack, Kevlar band.Once and a while 3rd gear does not want to engage under light load. I have to shift it into OD and it will shift into OD, then pull it back down into 3rd and it works fine. Also under WOT 3rd takes just a split second longer and a slight delay to shift into 3rd than 2nd does. Is there something stuck in the valve body? What do I need to do to make it shift where I want?

i think that there might be something sticking in the valve body. try some k&n stop leak and tune up it might do the trick.
My buddys 89z28 will hitt 6200+ in 1&2 3 maybe not that crazy to go 145 mph but its normal to rev high like that. try the k&n it might fix the sticking.
