Do you plan on keeping the carrier? If not, you might be able to drill it out. That is the only thing i can think of.. sorry.
yeah, we just bought the 95 ta and we don't plan on changing out the gears, there is a seal leaking rear end fluid all over the wheel and wheel well, so we need to pull the axel out and change the seal. It is so far been an impossible task.

Usually only about 1/2 a tread is all that's left holding it in. Get a dental pick and turn what's left of the retaining bolt out. It should only have a little bit of tension on it.
This **** happened to me too!!! It f'in sucks. Just get a pick and start tapping it out (counterclockwise). How bout a remover kit?? They sell them at local parts stores. Take your time doing this.
This happened to me too...damn it sucks. I could not pick mine out so I to get a air chissel and get after the big pin. I chisseled the end out and pushed it up then I was able to get a pair of pilers on the pin.
