Clutch Adjustment?
Hey guys I have a 1992 Camaro RS and my clutch peddle seems to let out really high and feels like it needs to be adjusted. I was wondering if this was possible to adjust a clutch and if so how do I do it? I am pretty sure the cluth is good as it was installed by the previous owner 4 months before I bought the car and I have the paper work, I just didnt know if it was suspose to be like this or if I could adjust it.
Thanks,
Darren

Re: Clutch Adjustment?
the clutch system in hydraulic, there is no adjustment. The only way to get adjustment is you buy a aftermarket clutch master cylinder, or modify your stock one.
The clutch pedal connects to a pushrod that goes into the master, you have to cut a section out of the rod, thread both ends, one lift hand and one right hand and install a turnbuckle in it so that you can adjust the length of the pushrod. That will let you adjust where the clutch engages.
