B&M Holeshot Failure
Just thought I would let everyone know the reason for the final failure of my transmission. My B&M 2400 Holeshot's output drive broke in half. Can't think of the right name for it. It's the output that inserts into the front pump of the tranny. Anyway it broke in half. Impressive to look at but definitely tells me it was a major piece of crap to begin with. Only second time I've had a B&M product and I'm 2 for 2. Both failed!

ouch!
I guess I will stay away from them in the future though it is most likely just a fluke!

The Holeshot is their entry-level high-stall convertor. They specifically say "daily driver", which should be translated as "low power/low abuse". If you're making some power or will be putting it through some abuse, get a better line. Which probably means not B&M.
