Difference between VSS's, 87-92 T5
Is there a difference between the T5 VSS for a MAF car and a MAP car? How about between an 87 T5 and an 88+ T5? My friend put an 87 T5 from a Trans Am in his 91 Camaro with speed density, and we've got the wires hooked up correctly, I am almost positive. However the speedometer doesnt work. I know there is a 2000 pulse vs a 4000 pulse difference somewhere. His 87 VSS also had a different plug than what I expected. Can someone help? Thanks.

Hey guys, I hate to jump into this post without an answer, but I have a similar question that perhaps you guys can answer for me that no one else has been able to:
I'm swapping an 87 TPI into a 91 RS (don't worry, I junked the 305 and bought a 350). How do I hook up my VSS? I have a 700R4. Thanks.
James
