I have a t-5 and some 3.73 gears I plan on installing soon. so I need to get the speedo right now the best I figure I would need is the 7 purple gear and 22 gray is this right? or do they make a 23 tooth for some other car or s10? I know the s10 is differant but, I think it could be modify

To make things easier, GM has bolt on ratio adapter that plug into the outside of the tranny. I have 3.73s and purchased one for $50. All you do is unscrew the speedo drive cable, screw the adapter onto the tranny, and then screw the speedo drive cable onto the adapter. If you have 3.08s right now, I even have the part number of the adapter you need.
Hope this helps,
Jason

90 for Camaros, 86 for Firebirds.

Hey 89BlwnRS, do you have part numbers or anything for that adapter? I've never heard of that before. My speedometer is wildly incorrect and I was thinking about going a buying the new gears, but if I could do that it would be alot easier.

For a T5, 3.73 gears, and stock 25.5" tires, you need a 7 tooth and a 21 tooth.
