T56 Flywheel will not bolt up to ZZ4???
Does anyone know if the LT1 motor uses the same bolt pattern on the crank as the standard Gen I Small Blocks with a one-piece rear main seal?
I've got an LT1 flywheel I'm trying to bolt to the ZZ4 in my 84 and the two bolt holes on either side of the dowel hole do NOT line up. The other four line up perfectly, and so does the dowel hole.
It's obviously an LT1 flywheel because my LT4 pressure plate and McLeod disc bolt up to it just fine. I just can't bolt the flywheel to my crank. I tried another one-piece SBC crank I had lying around and it wouldn't bolt to THAT either.
Did I just get a flywheel with two holes drilled by retarded monkeys, or does the LT1 crank have a different bolt pattern?? I would think enough people have done this by now I would have heard if you needed a special flywheel or something ...

The LT1 crank has the same bolt pattern as all one-peice cranks. Maybe you have a funked up flywheel.
