Driveshaft is the same for a T-5 and a 700.

The trans will work if it's a V8 one, except the flywheel won't bolt to your crank. You need a 86-back flywheel for the 2-piece-rear-main-seal system, but the 91 will be for the one-piece.

"Easy" and "hard" are relative terms. Some people would get it done in an afternoon and drive the car the same night, others.... might have more trouble. Judging by the type of questions you're asking, I'd guess you're more likely to be one of the latter. But it's certainly possible to do it.

You'll need the pedals including the bracket they mount in, and the clutch hydraulics; you'll have to install the holes in the firewall for the master cylinder.

Please see the transmission section of the FAQ on this website. It tells you what you need and how to put a manual trans into an automatic car.

It will fit if the Firebird was also a V8, but not a V6.
