no OD!!!
I just bought an 87 Z28 for a pretty good price, but apparently the "catch" has shown itself. I was on the way to memphis and was cruising down the highway and all of the sudden the revs shoot way up. After slowing down I found out that I no longer have 4th gear. It didn't give me any indications it was getting weak. It this possibly something simple?
Also, I noticed that now when I let off the gas the revs drop down to idle instead of gradually dropping as the car slows. Any help would be appreciated!!

The ames thing happened to my 92 chev 1/2Ton and my 91 Z28. I had to get a rebuild. Overdrive went in both of them.

I have that same problem, no OD and in OD when I let off the gas it's drops like it is in Nuetral, I am getting the tranny rebuilt next week.

DAMMIT, I just had the trans in my IROC rebuilt...now another one. It figures.
