help! severe wheel hop

I took my car to the strip last night and the rear axle was bouncing so badly it rattled my brake light switch right out from under the dash. has anyone had the same problem or any ideas how to fix. car is a 87 firebird, 350 crate engine, 5 speed, 3.27 posi, 275/50/r15's on the rear, stock susp.

Steve Spohn torque arm, lower control arms with relocation brackets and panhard bar will fix that. Don't expect to be able to hook up with stock suspension. It's designed to a comfort ride not performance.

i just finished going through the #ss end of my car and found one broken shock (internal) and a tranny mount that was pretty much ripped in half. does anybody know where to get a set of LCA relocation brackets?

Steve Spohn sells then allong with BBM (BMM?) I had the same problem so i replaced the shocks. STILL had wheel hop, so i bought new LCA's... they fixed the problem. I then bought SFC's and they tightened up the whole car. Try shocks first, especially since they help handling as well, then do the LCA's you should be all set after that.
