I am planning a TKO upgrade and am looking at the Spohn TKO x-member and safety loop (not x-mem mount tq arm). A couple things have been pointed out and I need to know from someone who has used the products...

LS1 aluminum shaft- does it fit thru the safety loop without interference? My car is lowered about an inch in front only, would this affect it?
Note: Spohn says the loop id is 4.5" wide and 5.5" high

Alston SFCs- I read where I'd need to do some cuttin', can anyone tell me about how much I'd be taking off?

UPDATE: the question is moot now; the x-mem would interfere with my Alston SFCs and the loop would not fit as my non-stock exhaust sits there too
