Jay, it should be fairly simple. It only hooks up at the tranny and the engine... On the tranny, it'll be on the pass. side. There's a 10mm bolt that holds it in place so just take that out and you'll have to pull up a little, as it's spring loaded in the tranny, but when you pull it up you'll see what I'm talking about. Then it just unhooks from it... On the engine side, just undo it from the linkage...

speaking of TV cables...
I had a rebuilt tranny put in awhile ago. Tranny builder didn't like the late style case that I have in my '89 because he thinks the abuse valve is crap. So he convinced me to let him build an early case 700.
Anyways... he used my original TV cable. He said that it's a little longer than the one that goes with the old style case, and he's not available any more.
Well, the tranny doesn't shift hard like I think it ought to, since he rebuilt it with the 'vette pump, servo, etc...
Matter of fact the shifts are pretty much granny. Would it be reasonable to put a cable stop on my TV before the ferrule on the end? Would that possibly increase the line pressure for me enough?
