Do anyone have a site that i can go to so that I can purchase the correct speedo gears for my car? Is it a hard job swapping speedo gears? What teeth count do I have to use with my 3.73 gears?

Just out of curiosity, how does your car feel with the 3.73's?
Mine has 3.70's and it feels like I have very little top end power. My '80 Camaro with a 350/4-barrel/2.73 non-posi blows right past the Iroc on the highway.

Go here to find the gears you need, there's a calculator towards the top of the page. The GM dealer should be able to order the right parts, I got two gears for a turbo 350 one was $10 one was $6, my speedo reads correct now.

If you are running a 700R4 with 245/50/16 tires, you need:

15T Gray drive gear (8642620)
45T blue driven gear (9775187)

1989 IROC-Z 5.7L
NOS 150HP kit
ProBuilt 700R4, PI Vigilante 2800 stall lockup
Baer Brakes 12" Sport System
