what flywheel do i need?
what flywheel do i need?
heres the deal, i pulled my auto out of my 91 bird. the flywheel for the manual will not bolt on to my crank shaft.
the crank on the donor car had that "skull" shaped metal plate that the flywheel bolted on to. My crank just has a round face.
what flywheel will work on this one?
any ideas
thanks

Sounds like you're trying to bolt a flywheel designed for a 2-piece rear main seal crank to a 1 piece rear main seal crank. As you found out, it won't work.
I don't know what manual you're trying to bolt to your engine, so I can't help you any more than that.
