my tranny is ******* out the engine at low rpms could this be the torque converter this happens in every gear

well is the fluid full?...but to answer your question yes it could be the cause. The converter anyway...usually it "spins out" and the engine has to rev higher to get the car going.

 

Well I guess it could lock the converter as well... so it would over power the engine crank...
