Which flywheel do I need?
I am in the process of doing a 5spd conversion in my camaro. My engine has the old style (2 peice) seal and a 400 crank.I'm not sure which flywheel I need.I think I need an externally balanced , 12.75 diameter , with 153 teeth. Is that right ? Does anyone have a part number for me? Thanks

Your guess is correct.
There is no such beast, except from Centerforce. They recently introduced one, I don't know the part # offhand, it's on their web site though. Or, you can take a neutral-balanced one to the balance shop, and have them "unbalance" it for you. There's enough metal around the edge of most of them to where they can just drill a bunch of holes on one side. Or, you can use a "pork chop" weight on the crank flange.
