Should i buy this stall?
I'm looking to put a stall behind my newly built 355. A guy is selling a precision industries 3200-3600 stall converter. It is for 4l60e transmission but he says it will work with 700r4s. My transmission is a 1985 700r4. Will it fit?

Re: Should i buy this stall?
There's a changover year for the 700R4. The input shaft size is different between the years. Pre 84 uses a 27 spline shaft. 84-97 uses the larger 30 spline shaft which includes the 4L60E
What's the total duration of your camshaft? You don't want a converter that stalls higher than what you need.

It would work but you might want a converter that stalls in the 3800-4200 range.
