What's the strongest T5 our Fbodies came with?
What's the strongest T5 our Fbodies came with?
I'm about to install a moderate 350, and want to know about the T5 strength and which is best. I know my Borg Warner T5 is rated at about 250 ft-lb. I think one of the World Class was rated to 310 ft-lb and another to 350? Anybody know? What year vehicle were each found in?

From what I've read the WC came in 88 and later V-8 Camaro's, that's what I have in my car and it's holding up fine behind my 305, it has 140,000 miles on it and still shifts like new, I even have the stock original clutch in it. What kills the T-5 is side stepping the clutch and power shifting.
