beat in heat cycles for new gears?
Im just about to finish my 4.11 gears in my BW and a friend was tell this what you think?
3 heat cycles.....drive it for like 30 minutes then park it and let it cool all the way down an hr and a half maybe? then repeat 3 times. then just be easy on it for the first 1000 miles. thats what richmond told me to do with mine.
thanks

Re: beat in heat cycles for new gears?
Where did you find 4.11 for the BW???
In the factory manual it says to drive for 10 minutes and let cool. Then keep trips short with no towing for the first 50 miles and keep the speed under 50mph. After that just take it easy for 500 - 1000 miles.
