9 bolt posi strength?

i have a 9 bolt rear and i went out today and checked how much torque it takes to break one tire loose from the other and it was between 50-70 pounds depending on where the lug was positioned. how much does a new posi unit usually take? and should i be looking into getting new cones?

Re: 9 bolt posi strength?

i have done the test i was just wondering if anyone knew how much torque it takes to beak one side loose from the other on a new unit. i think mine is pretty worn since it isnt very far from the limit but i wanted to see how worn it is from new.
