Im braking down and spending the 1800 for a new trans and converter. any recomendations from past experiences would help. Also wondering what stall speed is good for a daily driver that gets beat on every day

Are you planning to stick with the 3.23's? If you are then I would use the ACT 9.5" lockup with about 2,500-2,700 stall. This torque converter is worth about 3-5 tenth's in the quarter mile, is much easier on parts, and still retains the lockup for maximum gas mileage. This converter sells for $545.00, comes with a one year warranty and a free stall change if desired. Are you looking for a street/strip transmission? I specialize in the 700R4 Heavy Duty & Street/Strip setups, and I give a one year warranty also. I have helped quite a few on this board with their transmission builds. If I can be of help call me at 800 7763288 Mon-Sat 11-7 PST, or email me if you want at probuilt1@earthlink.net. If you get a chance check out my website at www.pro-built.net, I am working on my new website and it should be up in a couple of weeks, with many inprovements.
Glad Too Help!!!
