TH350C and TV Cable

I am installing a TH350C in the place of my broken 700r4. Do I need to install the TV cable, or can I run it without one.

You can run without it if you don't mind the transmission never downshifting on its own when you step on the gas.

Ok, thanks. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to burn it up like it sounds like it does with the 700r4.

That is what I thought, but it has a place for vacuum and a place for the TV cable.

T-350 does not use TV cable. What you are looking at is the kick down cable. Yes it is ok to use without it. Just will not down shift at full throtle. Vacuum line goes to modulator valve fo auto and manual shifting.
