and b4 then it sat for 3 years
so yah it prolly needs some

pull the cover take a look around and see if you spot any thing odd, any chips in the gear lube. leaking axle seals or anything like that and replace the lube and posi additive. i use mobil 1 in mine with gm posi additive.
