i have a new locker that was originaly for my 1988 s-10 blazer(twenty eight splin axles) but blew motor will this fit in my 85 camaro Z28 TPI aplications for this locker stat 1982-96 camaro's and 1988-1998 S-10's.my car has open rear right now and i would really like to use the locker instead of having $300 worth of metal just sitin on my shelf!

 

I used one of those lockers on my old 69 LeMans. I ended up with $300 worth of metal sitting in the yard. I didn't shim it properly, or at all for that matter, and eventualy the teeth wore down to where they wouldn't catch anymore. If it says it will fit, then it should fit. If you want to make sure, pull one of your axles and count the splines.

Your 85 Z should have 26 spline axles.
