Please don't hate me it's a vette. I respect this site and the people are very knowledgeable, it's why I post today. I know there are some vette guys here too .

It’s an 88Vette mostly stock. Ported the base, runners, plenum its RPM range is maxed at about 5200. It’s got Transgo shift kit and some other small goodies not enough to speak off.

I have 2.59 gears and it’s pretty quick off the line mid 13s car on a good day, with 3.54 it should wake it up more! Keep in mind nothing is hurt in the rear end it’s in fair shape no noise or anything.

Can I get some tips please or advise from everyone on these?

1.) Should I get 3.54 or 3.73 Gears? What brand gears ?
2.) Should I get a master install/overhaul kit for my D36, If so what brand name?
3.) I was thinking about replacing my u-joints if they are in good shape should I replace them any way? Or should I just look for play in each joint and replace as necessary? If so what brand name?
4.) Speed O gear which one is needed 3.54 and 3.73 where can I get one at
5.) Is there anything I’m missing or anything anyone recommends I do while in there?

Keep in mind I don’t want to spend too much but I rather go it one time so money can be spent. I’m not taking it to a shop I know how to do the gear job. I’ve never done a D36 though
