WHat is the Cheapest whole diff for 83 Trans am
All the teeth from my gears are in the bottom of the diff, What would be the cheapest whole diff with two wheel peel, that I could just bolt in myself no shimming or diff guy needed? Other than the junkyard and stronger than stock ofcourse i dont wanna fix another one.

Bolt in 12 bolt or 9". Available from Moser, Currie, Dynatrac, and about a dozen other vendors. Prepare to spend $2,500.

You're not going to find a junkyard diff that will fit without a lot of fabrication work because of the third gen's torque arm suspension.
For around $2500 will get you a complete ready to bolt in 9", 12 bolt or Dana 60 but that's not your cheapest option.
Buy a direct bolt in 9" housing package which comes with axles for around $1000. Get it with 31 spline axles. It will be designed to use your brakes so they just need to be swapped over. Find a junkyard center section with the gear ratio you want and 31 spline posi and pop it into the housing. Depending on your mechanical ability, you can have a 9" under the car for less than $1500.
