hey there, sorry to post this wanted ad right here, but I really need to know if anyone has a rear axle that will fit my 82Z28, because I want DISC brakes, and lower gears, preferably 3.42's, posi.. anyone selling a whole rear end w/calipers? let me know with a price asap. thanks!

I put an '88 9-bolt under my '83Z, and it was an easy swap. I don't remember having to do any mods to bolt it in.Check your local wrecking yard. Most are on a multi-state hotline and should be able to locate one for a reasonable?? price.

I will have a 12-bolt Summers Bros. rearend setup for sale sometime around October (gotta get my car back from a roll cage installation first). It has a 3.08 gear, 3-series pos carrier, and 1LE disc brake caliper brackets. E-mail me if you are interested. I won't post in the classifieds until I have the unit out of the car.
