I have an 84 camaro with a 383 stroker in it. I have been hearing that the 700r4 will not hold the 400 horsepower of the motor. But then some say it will. The trans has a 2800 stahl converter and a shift kit and has been freshly rebuilt. Will this trans hold the power of the motor? I use the car for a cruiser and i beat on it once in awhile it is not a strip car. Can anyone give me help.
